US President Donald Trump 's special envoy for Russia-Ukraine relations Keith Kellogg may present scenarios for a peaceful end to the conflict at the Munich conference. This was reported by the publication Semafor, citing sources.

"At one of the meetings, Kellogg said that he intends to meet and coordinate with officials from each NATO country," - stated in the material.

At the same time, Kellogg previously denied any claims that a plan for a peaceful settlement could be presented at the Munich Security Conference, which begins on February 14.

Earlier, on February 5, it was reported that the special envoy for the Ukrainian settlement would visit Kiev on February 20. As noted by the Ukrainian TV channel Public, this date was proposed by the US side.

Kellogg said on January 31 that Trump intends to give Moscow and Kiev leverage to negotiate the settlement of the conflict. According to the speaker, the administration of the United States is considering options to pressure not only Russia, but also Ukraine. According to Kellogg's words, all this "will provide the President of the United States with leverage to end the conflict." At the time, Trump said he was holding "very constructive talks" with Russia and Ukraine to resolve the conflict.

The last round of talks between Russia and Ukraine took place on March 29, 2022 in Istanbul. They lasted about three hours. Later, Kiev officially refused contacts with Moscow. On October 4, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired in May 2024) introduced a decision of the country's National Security and Defense Council on the impossibility of holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
