MosBirch Index exceeded 3000 points for the first time since July 2024
On February 10, the MosBirch index exceeded the 3000 points threshold for the first time since July 2024. This follows from the data of the Russian stock indicator.
Thus, by 14:41 Moscow time, the index amounted to 3002.34 points (+1.2%) - the maximum since July 26 last year. The increase, among other factors, was influenced by the rise in the price of futures for Brent to $75.6 per barrel.
The total volume of trading in shares from the calculation of the stock exchange index amounted to 58.59 billion rubles by the specified time.
By 14:45 Moscow time, the index accelerated growth and was at 3,005.75 points (+1.32%), added "Gazeta.Ru".
Earlier, January 30, it was reported that the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) and Moscow Exchange plan to launch a new stock market index in July 2025 as part of the program to create shareholder value of companies. It was noted that the index will be able to include companies that are included in the first and second level of listing of Moskbirzh.
