Ryabkov pointed to the absence of secret designs in Russia's position on the settlement in Ukraine

There is no secret plot or double bottom in Russia's views on resolving the crisis in Ukraine. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters on 10 February.

"There is no double bottom, no secret plot, there is no element of playing to the public in our position. Our position is a derivative of deeply internal not just felt, but experienced with full understanding of the seriousness and tragedy of what is happening of the national interests of our country," the deputy minister said.
