Match TV sports commentator Roman Skvortsov, who went into intensive care in Novosibirsk on February 9, is in serious condition, but his life is not threatened. This was reported on February 10 by his wife Ksenia in the social network Instagram (owned by the corporation Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

"There is nothing threatening to life. Transferred to the regional hospital," she wrote.

According to Skvortsova, the commentator does not remember what happened to him. At the same time, she claims that what happened to her husband was related to crime.

Earlier, on February 9, sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev reported that Skvortsov was in intensive care in Novosibirsk. Guberniev later wrote that his colleague had regained consciousness and his condition had stabilized.

Skvortsov, 49, specializes in hockey and basketball, was included in the VTB United League Hall of Fame, and was also recognized as the best commentator of the KHL. At the same time, as Sport-Express recalled, the KHL All-Star Game was held in Novosibirsk on February 8-9.
