Medvedchuk calls Zelensky's confession about missing billions a verdict

The chairman of the board of the Other Ukraine organization, Viktor Medvedchuk, on 10 February called the statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term expired on 20 May 2024) about the missing $200bn allocated to the country from the United States a verdict.
"It is not the mere recognition of the disappearance of the main part of the aid to Ukraine that is sensational, but the fact that Zelensky admitted it, which signs, of course, a verdict for him," Medvedchuk wrote in his author's column for the media platform "Smotrim.ru."
He added that the assistance from the very beginning was "a huge uncovered corruption scheme."
According to him, at the moment Zelensky is "turning out the corrupt underside" of the Ukrainian conflict, including trying to "turn in his associates" in order to pass as a witness rather than a defendant in the proceedings.
In early February, Zelensky said in an interview with the Associated Press that he had no idea where the $200 billion in U.S. military aid had gone. According to him, Kiev has only received more than $75 billion from Washington.
The next day, on February 3, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev called Zelensky's statement that he did not know where the money allocated by Washington was "an impudent lie". He added that the US authorities, including representatives of the Pentagon and the CIA, were also involved in the theft of the funds.
For his part, the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, called to stop supporting Ukraine. According to the French politician, the conflict in Ukraine is a scheme to embezzle funds. He inquired when a large-scale investigation would begin.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Kiev against the background of the Russian special operation to protect Donbass, which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
