Hyacinth howitzer crews hit the Ukrainian Army's PzH 2000 SAU in the SSE zone


The cannoneers of the Hyacinth howitzer's crews hit a German self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) PzH 2000 (Panzerhaubitze 2000) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the direction of the town of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). The Russian army command told Izvestia on February 10.
A platoon commander of the Volga mixed artillery regiment of the Russian Armed Forces (AFU) Volunteer Corps with the call sign "Bely" said that his fighters destroyed a German-made SAU using Soviet weapons from 1975.
"It is interesting to see on the Internet how much it (SAU. - Ed.) costs. $15 million. There are only 40 of them in the [North Atlantic] Alliance, " he said.
In addition, the commander called the situation in the direction steadily tense.
Earlier, on January 30, calculations of Hyacinth-B cannons of the Guards Tank Army of the "West" group of troops in the special operation zone destroyed an M777 howitzer, a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and strongholds with enemy manpower.
