Sales of new crossback Peugeot 408X started in Russia

The company Automobile Technologies, which produces cars at the PSMA Rus plant in the Kaluga region, has started selling the Peugeot 408X crossback in Russia. The price of the car starts from 4.7 million rubles, according to the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on February 10. The car is promised a warranty for two years or 100 thousand kilometers of mileage.

The Peugeot 408X crossback was introduced in China in 2023, the model is produced at the Dongfeng Peugeot joint venture in Chengdu. The model is powered by a 1.6 engine with 175 hp (250 Nm) and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption in the mixed cycle is 6.4 liters, acceleration to 100 km / h takes 8.9 seconds.

The list of options includes diode optics, 19-inch wheels, panoramic roof, audio system with 10 speakers, 10-inch digital dashboard with 3D surround function, central 10-inch multimedia screen. As well as a surround-view system, front and rear parktronics, adaptive cruise control with emergency stop function, six airbags, dual-zone climate control and other options. The luggage compartment door is equipped with electric drive. The trunk volume is 536 liters when the seats are unfolded and 1611 liters when folded.

Automotive Technologies has been mass-producing the Citroen C5 Aircross crossover since March 2024. At the end of the same year, it signed an agreement "for the contract assembly of cars of the popular Chinese brand", the manufacturer said. This will ensure full utilization of the company's lines and workshops with body painting and welding. The company also supplies Citroen C5 Aircross and C5X, Peugeot 2008, 4008 and 5008 cars for sale in Russia.
