Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. The Defense Ministry said that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) hit the infrastructure of military airfields, as well as concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 142 areas.

Also, the air defense forces shot down three American HIMARS multiple rocket launchers (MLRS), a French-made Hammer guided aerial bomb and Uragan MLRS, as well as 51 aircraft-type drones.

In addition, on the Kharkiv direction, during the day, units of the "North" group of forces struck at the enemy's manpower and equipment of the Teroboron brigade and the National Guard brigade in the areas of Zhovtnevoye and Sinelnikovo in Kharkiv region.

The AFU lost up to 25 military personnel, an artillery gun and an electronic warfare station there, the military ministry added.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation destroyed: 653 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 42851 UAVs, 592 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM), 21278 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1514 MLRS combat vehicles, 21477 field artillery guns and mortars, 31438 units of special military vehicles.
