Indian police stopped a street performance of singer Ed Sheeran in the city of Bangalore. This is reported by The Guardian on February 10.

It is specified that Sheeran was playing guitar and performing his hit song Shape of You. Suddenly a policeman approached him and turned off the microphone. According to police, the organizers of the performance were denied permission to hold it because the street is traditionally too busy.

"I refused to give permission because there are a lot of people on Church Street. That's why he was asked to vacate the venue," the publication reports a police spokesperson as saying.

Sheeran, who started his career as a street musician in the UK, later claimed on social media that he had permission to perform in Bangarol.

Earlier, on January 25, it became known that the rock band Queen was in the list of the 100 largest taxpayers in Britain at the end of the last fiscal year. It was specified that last year the company Queen Productions, owned by Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, as well as the musicians themselves paid taxes in the amount of about $ 14.7 million. At the same time, the group is located only on the 92nd line of the list.
