Western countries send banned toxic substances to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which are later used on the battlefield. This was reported on February 10 by Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime.

"There is such an impression that the arsenals of American, NATO bases are being swept out, put in boxes, they are sent to Ukrainian militants, because everything can be used in Ukraine. You can use all the weapons that have been banned," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, the West uses Ukraine as a place to dispose of munitions with poisonous substances, which Ukrainian servicemen later use on the battlefield.

Earlier, on 6 February, Russian Ambassador to France Aleksey Meshkov said that the delivery of French Mirage fighter jets to the Ukrainian Armed Forces could be called a good example of free disposal of obsolete weapons. The diplomat explained that the disposal of Western obsolete equipment is very expensive. Therefore, instead of "sawing it off" at home, it is cheaper to write it off to Ukraine under the guise of "another million euros of aid".

Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine against the background of Russia's special operation to protect Donbass, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
