Attack on a policeman in Dagestan caught on video

On February 10, Izvestiya published a video showing a group of men attacking a policeman in Dagestan.

The footage shows how three men threw the policeman to the ground and started beating him. Then one of the attackers snatched the weapon of the employee. After that, according to the IC of the Republic, already outside the CCTV camera, one of them shot the policeman at least eight times.

Earlier, on February 9, it was reported that in Dagestan detained three suspects in the shooting and attack on a policeman in Derbent. A criminal case was opened against them under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer") and paragraph "b" part 4 of Article 226 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft of firearms with the use of violence dangerous to life or health").
