Actors revealed details of the shooting of the adventure movie "Red Silk"


The adventure movie "Red Silk" about the events of the late 1920s, the role of the Soviet Union in the formation of the People's Republic of China and the development of Russian-Chinese relations is full of exciting special effects, stunts of actors and elaborate details. Thus, in the movie most of the action takes place "on the rails", but despite this the narrative remains non-linear. In the Russian-Chinese movie product, some episodes were filmed including one shot for the plausibility of what is happening.
"The most difficult thing is we have a 10-minute scene there is non-stop with a fight with a shootout with a chase with all the things. We breed it and rehearsed practically a week," - said the actor of the film project Gleb Kalyuzhny.
According to the journalist of "Izvestia" Roman Polskov, the scenario from China through the whole of Russia in 1927 transport secret documents. They are trying to get them spies. In the express train, murders occur, to the investigation of which a former tsarist agent. The movie promises that each scene will reveal to the viewer a new plot twist.
Polskov specified that the actors performed all the stunts in "Red Silk" independently, but under the supervision of specialists and with insurance. For example, the Chinese actress Zheng Hanyi in one of the scenes jumps off a cliff. This fragment was filmed for two days with several cameras. There were many takes, the correspondent added.
"Jumping off the mountain is the hardest thing, I used to think I was afraid of heights. I can't, I can't jump, well, please, but everything didn't make it. Directors prepared - and all to jump," said Zheng Hanyi.
Performing the role of the main character Milos Bikovich, in turn, shared that for action scenes he had to just a little training.
Polskov said that in the Trans-Siberian in the 1920s, almost all the cars were of high comfort and they have not survived, only those converted into staff cars remained. According to him, the artists-decorators of "Red Silk" specially for the movie recreated exact copies of the cars of that time.
Director of the movie project Andrei Volgin said that the actors and crew were tested not only by stunts and battle scenes, but also by the weather conditions on Lake Baikal.
"The locals came out, said, you are doing nonsense, in an hour will blow a monstrously strong wind and everything will blow away. <...> We normally felt the full power of Baikal on ourselves," Volgin emphasized.
In addition, the correspondent of "Izvestia" said that the staging of all action scenes was led by an expert from Jackie Chan's team.
