The Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption (GUEBiPK) of Blagoveshchensk police detected and liquidated the work of an illegal casino. About it on February 10 reports the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Amur region in its Telegram-channel.
"Police officers and investigators with the support of special forces of the Rosgvardiya visited the gambling establishment. In the hall they found several gambling tables for card games, staff, dozens of customers, among them foreign citizens," the agency said in a statement.
Law enforcers found out that the casino carried out its activities from September 2024 to January 2025. It is noted that the local entrepreneur and his accomplices were engaged in the organization and conduct of gambling.
In addition, the search resulted in the seizure of equipment and cash worth about 1.5 million rubles.
Earlier, February 5, it was reported about the completion of the criminal investigation against an organized group of five people: they are accused of organizing illegal gambling activities under the guise of an Internet salon in Krasnoyarsk.
