The Palestinian Red Crescent opened the first field hospital in the Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Red Crescent has opened the first field hospital in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported on February 9 on X (formerly Twitter).
"The Palestinian Red Crescent completes the handover of a fully equipped field hospital. <...> This is the first field hospital in Gaza City, comprising several medical departments including surgery, neonatology, intensive care, radiology, emergency room and emergency services," the press office informed.
It is specified that the Field Hospital will be managed by a medical team from Al-Quds Hospital in Tel Al-Hawa.
Earlier, on February 5, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting with Trump said that Israel intends to destroy the Palestinian movement Hamas, return all Jewish hostages and eliminate the threat to the country from the Gaza Strip. The American leader, in turn, called Gaza a demolition site and suggested that Palestinians be resettled in Jordan, Egypt or other countries.
At the same time, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal noted that the Palestinian side opposes the US president's proposal to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to Arab countries.
Later in the press conference, Trump said that the United States will take control of the Gaza Strip. At the same time, he specified that the state would own the territory and be responsible for its restoration, The New York Times (NYT) reported.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected the territory of Israel to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
