Illegal sale of black sturgeon caviar was stopped in Moscow

A man and a woman were detained in Moscow for organizing the illegal sale of black caviar of sturgeon fish species. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the capital on Sunday, February 9, in Telegram-channel.

A 33-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man together with accomplices organized the illegal sale of black sturgeon caviar on the territory of the capital, writes RIAMO. In the framework of operational measures they found and seized illegal fish products, its total weight amounted to about 120 kg, specifies the agency of city news "Moscow".

The defendants have already been charged under the article on the illegal acquisition, storage, transportation and sale of derivatives (derivatives) of especially valuable aquatic biological resources, RT reports. In the near future, they will be brought to court, the website kp.ru reports.

It is specified that sturgeon fish species are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation, Life.ru writes.
