Emergency Situations Ministry employees in Moscow rescued a boy who fell through the ice. This was reported on Sunday, February 9, in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Moscow.
The incident occurred earlier in the day in Bittsevsky Park, reports Life.ru. The child fell under the thin ice and could not get out on the shore on his own. The incident was reported to rescuers by eyewitnesses, writes the agency of city news "Moscow".
While waiting for help, he was sitting on a stump in the middle of the river Bitza, specifies the site kp.ru. Rescuers together with divers with the help of a ladder rescued the boy and handed him over to doctors, notes RT. According to RIAMO, he was diagnosed with hypothermia of the first degree.
According to 360.ru with reference to eyewitnesses, the 13-year-old boy stayed in the water for more than 20 minutes.
Citizens were urged not to go out on thin ice. Parents were asked to talk to their children about the danger of playing near bodies of water, reports NSN.
On February 7, two children of five and seven years old fell under the ice of a water reservoir for cooling the power plant and drowned in the urban-type settlement of Okhotsk, Khabarovsk Krai. At the moment it has been established that the children were playing near the reservoir, but then decided to go out on the ice and fell through.
A criminal case has been opened under part 3 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two or more persons"). It is under control of the prosecutor's office.
