In Moscow, the night of February 9 became the coldest since the beginning of the year. This was reported on Sunday, February 9, by a leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets in his Telegram-channel.

According to the specialist, at the main weather station VDNKh the minimum temperature amounted to -7.6 degrees. Meanwhile, this figure is still above the climatic norm by 3-4 degrees, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

In the Moscow region, the lowest temperature, by tradition, was recorded in Cherusti and amounted to -12.7 degrees, Life.ru specifies. In Pavlovsky Posad, a figure of -10.9 degrees was recorded, writes the website kp.ru.

Earlier on February 9, Tishkovets noted that on the last weekend of February, the temperature regime in Central Russia will return to the climatic trend. At night, it is expected from -9 to -14 degrees Celsius, and during the day from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius. Up to 5-10 cm of snow will fall in Moscow by Defender of the Fatherland Day, RIAMO notes.
