The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have struck the Kievskyy district of Donetsk with the use of airplane-type attack drones. This was reported by Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Bykovsky on February 10.

"The strike was carried out on Shakhterskaya Square. Earlier, the HIMARS multiple rocket launchers had already flown here. Literally 100 m from here is the Moloko shopping center, which was hit on January 10 with six HIMARS rockets," he informed.

Bykovsky also said that at least three attack drones, most likely homemade, flew over the area on the evening of February 9.

"Here is such a frame, foam wings, that is quite a cheap drone in production, but nevertheless it was able to cause some damage. The glazing in two-story apartment buildings was damaged. Fortunately, at the moment there is no information about casualties", - concluded the correspondent.

On that day, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), Denis Pushilin, said that the AFU had shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic more than 10 times during the day. As a result of the use of artillery shelling by the enemy, a pharmacist of a pharmacy - a woman born in 1984 - was injured and received the necessary medical care.

Earlier, on February 8, Pushilin reported ten wounded and one dead in the AFU strike on Makeyevka. It is specified that as a result of the attack apartment buildings and 15 cars were damaged.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
