Restrictions on electricity supply for industrial consumers will be introduced on Monday throughout Ukraine. This was announced by the national energy company Ukrenergo in its Telegram-channel on February 9.

"Tomorrow, February 10, power restrictions for industry and business will be applied," - informed the press service of the Telegram-channel of the company.

It is specified that the restrictions are caused by damage in the country's power system and will be in effect from 06:00 to 21:00 (07:00 to 22:00 Moscow time).

Earlier, on December 26, 2024, the energy company Ukrenergo reported that due to damage to the infrastructure in the country introduced restrictions for consumers and industry. Ukrainian energy holding DTEK reported damage to equipment at its thermal power plants after the explosions.

Before that, on December 25, the Defense Ministry reported a massive strike on Ukrainian energy facilities. The ministry specified that the purpose of the strike was achieved and all facilities were hit.

Russian troops in October 2022 began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was a response to the Kiev regime's terrorist actions.
