Unlabeled goods will be donated to charity

Unlabeled goods withdrawn from circulation will begin to be donated to charity. The State Duma may adopt the government bill with such norms in the first reading on February 27. This was told to "Izvestia" in the Committee of the State Duma on state construction and legislation, which intends to consider this initiative at a meeting on February 10.
"I think that we will support this bill," - told "Izvestia" the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee Yuri Sinelshchikov.
Izvestia learned that the Accounts Chamber has already sent a positive response to the initiative to the parliament, as well as a number of regions, including the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Nizhny Novgorod Region and others.
The Cabinet of Ministers submitted the bill to the State Duma back in late December last year. The document was developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade within the framework of the strategy to combat illicit trafficking of industrial products for the period up to 2025. It is proposed to fix in part 6 of article 32.4 of the Administrative Code of Ukraine the provisions that goods without labeling confiscated by court order may be transferred free of charge as humanitarian aid.
The exception will be alcohol-containing medicines, perfumes and cosmetics, alcohol, tobacco and cigarettes.
At present, goods without labeling are subject to destruction, disposal, recycling in case they are recognized as unsafe or unsuitable for use for their intended purpose.
