The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) more than 10 times during the day, a civilian was wounded. This was reported by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on February 9.

"In Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka as a result of the use of barrel artillery by the enemy injured pharmacist of the pharmacy - a woman born in 1984, she was given the necessary medical care," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

In addition, Pushilin informed that as a result of Kiev's aggression, six residential buildings in the Nikitovsky, Central City and Kalininsky districts of Horlivka were damaged, as well as four objects of civilian infrastructure in the Nikitovsky district of Horlivka (lyceum, pharmacy, power line and a non-functioning cafe building).

"More than 10 armed attacks were carried out from the side of the armed formations of Ukraine (AFU). Barrel artillery of 155 mm caliber was used, including cluster type, impact unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)", - said the head of the DNR.

Earlier, on February 8, Pushilin reported ten wounded and one dead in the AFU strike on Makeyevka. It is specified that as a result of the attack damaged apartment buildings and 15 cars.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
