Air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian UAVs over the Black Sea and Crimea


Air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and the Republic of Crimea on the evening of February 9. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry.
"From 19.20 to 19.40 Moscow time on duty air defense means destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles: two over the waters of the Black Sea and one over the territory of the Republic of Crimea", - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.
On the same day, it was reported that air defense forces shot down 35 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian regions. It was specified that over the territory of Kursk region the Russian army shot down 18 drones, over the territory of Orel region and Krasnodar region four drones were destroyed each, over the territory of Voronezh and Rostov regions three drones were eliminated each.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
