In Yekaterinburg, a driver hit pedestrians, one person was killed and three were injured. About it on February 9 reported in the press service of the State traffic police of the Sverdlovsk region.

"The circumstances of the accident are being checked, as a result of which one person was killed, three more, including a child, received injuries of varying severity," - said in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

According to preliminary data, on Sunday, February 9, the driver of the car Volkswagen Polo, moving at an unsafe speed along Moskovskaya Street in the Leninsky district of the city, hit the Lexus and Toyota RAV4 driving ahead. Then he collided with a Nissan March standing on the roadside and hit pedestrians.

It is specified that the car, which was on the side of the road, had a damaged wheel and at the time of the accident two men were helping the female driver to replace the tire. At the same time, they did not put out an emergency stop sign.

The drivers of the cars Lexus and Toyota RAV4 left the scene of the accident, they are being sought by law enforcement officials, noted in the regional traffic police.
