In Istanbul, the son of a famous Italian chef died of stab wounds


The son of the famous Italian chef Mattia Minguzzi died in the capital's hospital from stab wounds after an attack two weeks ago. This was reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera on Sunday, February 9.
It is noted that the 14-year-old died this morning, while doctors diagnosed brain death in the boy two days ago.
According to the publication, the exact causes of the brutal attack by the 15-year-old Turkish teenager have not yet been determined. He stabbed Minguzzi five times. A 16-year-old accomplice of the attacker kicked the boy before both tried to flee the scene.
The incident took place on January 24 at a flea market in the Kadıköy neighborhood, where Minguzzi had gone with friends to buy skateboarding equipment. They were approached by a group of teenagers, one of whom told the Italian chef's son that he was very handsome and offered to befriend him. Minguzzi replied to him, "Sorry, bro," after which a local attacked him.
Turkish police detained the two attackers and they have been arrested. Italian police and diplomats have joined the investigation.
