In Krasnoyarsk Krai, a man stabbed his wife and her new lover to death

A resident of Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk region, stabbed his wife and her new lover. This was reported on February 9 by the press service of the State Investigation Committee of the Investigation Committee of Russia in the region in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the victim and the suspect were in the process of divorce. The man came to the entrance of the house, where his wife lived with her cohabitant. When the couple left the apartment, the suspect on the landing attacked the man with a knife, then caught up with the woman and stabbed her several times in the neck area. The two died from their injuries.

After the crime, the man went to his home, where he tried to kill himself. However, he was discovered in time by his relatives and taken to hospital. Now he is being provided with medical assistance.

"In the criminal case are carried out the necessary investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed," - stated in the message.

A criminal case has been initiated against the man under item. "a" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two persons").

Earlier, on January 13, a resident of the town of Balakhna, Nizhny Novgorod region, stabbed his wife and killed a 1.5-year-old daughter. It was reported that the suspect stabbed his wife numerous times with a knife and hit his daughter several times on the head with a blunt object. They died from their injuries. He was later taken into custody.
