Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. It is noted that the Russian Armed Forces liberated the settlement of Orekhovo-Vasilevka of the Donetsk People's Republic, the units of the "West" troop group improved their tactical position, and the units of the "Center" troop group continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense.

"The units of the grouping of troops "Dnipro" defeated the living forces and equipment of three mechanized, infantry, two brigades of coastal defense of the AFU and two brigades of tera defense in the areas of the settlements of Novoandreyevka, Malye Shcherbaki, Kamenskoye, Stepnogorsk of the Zaporozhye region, Berislav and Otradokamenka of the Kherson region," - said the Ministry of Defense.

In addition, operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces' troop groups struck a gas and oil facility that ensured the operation of Ukraine's military-industrial complex, the infrastructure of military airfields, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 147 areas.

"Air defense means shot down a rocket shell of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system and 90 unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type," the Defense Ministry added.

A total of 653 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 42,800 unmanned aerial vehicles, 592 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,268 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,514 multiple rocket launchers, 21,463 field artillery and mortar guns, 31,420 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
