Roszdravnadzor will check a private clinic in Moscow because of hospitalizations after IVF treatment

In Moscow, Roszdravnadzor will check the quality of medical care provided to women who were hospitalized after IVF procedure in a private clinic. This was reported by the agency in Telegram-channel on February 9.

"The territorial body of Roszdravnadzor for Moscow and Moscow region will check the quality of medical care for women in a private clinic in the capital", - stated in the message.

Earlier in the day it became known that after the IVF procedure five women were urgently hospitalized in an infectious disease hospital with fever of unclear genesis, angiogenic sepsis.

The Department of Health of Moscow confirmed the admission to hospitals of women who were hospitalized after IVF procedure in one of the private clinics. It was noted that two patients are in serious condition. All victims are provided with a full range of medical care.

The husband of one of the victims told "Izvestia" that they went to the clinic for the second time, the first time everything went well. He added that he knows a similar case, when the girl had the same symptoms as his wife. The man emphasized that he plans to look into the situation.
