"Fake dating - fraudsters create false profiles in social networks and on dating sites, play up flashed feelings and, as a result, swindle funds," the statement said.

In addition, scammers often resort to creating false flower and gift delivery sites, they offer "discounts and exclusive bouquets", but after paying for the order stop communicating.

You should also be careful with offers of discounts from "supposedly famous brands", which will lead the buyer to sites that steal personal data.

The Home Office has warned that a scheme involving flower delivery from an "unknown admirer" may be used. It is designed to trick the customer into texting a code to gain access to their accounts.

Earlier, on December 26, "Izvestia" reported that scammers became active on the eve of the New Year. In the arsenal of attackers now has artificial intelligence. Digital assistants increase the "efficiency" of deception. Neural networks "help" in the creation of phishing emails and websites. The goal of attackers is to get hold of citizens' personal data.
