The State Duma has drafted a bill on a shortened working week

The State Duma (GD) has drafted a bill to establish a working week shortened by an hour. This is stated in the document, which is at the disposal of TASS on February 9.
"On the eve of the weekend, the duration of the working day or shift in a five-day work is reduced by one hour while maintaining the established norm of working time", - stated in the text of the document.
It is specified that the changes are proposed to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that on the eve of the weekend the duration of the working day in a five-day work week is reduced by one hour while maintaining the norm of working time.
The head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov suggests that such changes will contribute to improving the quality of life of workers, as well as preserving their health.
Earlier, February 7, a member of the Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab reported that the Duma has developed a bill to reduce the working week in Russia to 36 hours. It was specified that examples of similar labor relations already exist in European countries, so the reduction of the working week to 36 hours is quite feasible.
