Pro-Palestinian activists disrupted Habek's speech in Berlin
Pro-Palestinian activists interfered with a Green Party election event in Berlin, which was attended by incumbent Vice Chancellor, German Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, and candidate for Chancellor Robert Habeck. This was reported by the newspaper Zeit on Saturday, February 8.
Habeck interrupted his speech twice during the speech as activists loudly shouted slogans in support of Palestine. They also accused Israel of committing genocide.
According to the pro-Palestinians, Germany is complicit in the genocide because it provides military support to Israel. It is noted that security guards escorted some activists out of the hall.
In January, a pro-Palestinian activist during the speech of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Bielefeld accused him of involvement in the deaths in the Gaza Strip. The head of the Bundestag demanded that the activist stop shouting, after which security forces escorted her out of the hall.
