A cargo ship that ran aground in the Nevelsky District of the Sakhalin Region did not give a distress signal. This was reported on February 9 by the source of "Izvestia".

According to preliminary information, there is no threat to the life of the crew, no damage. The vessel did not give a distress signal", - stated in the message.

It is specified that on board there are 20 citizens of China. The crew members do not need medical assistance, there is a supply of water and food.

According to the source, the ship is loaded with coal, tentatively 1 thousand tons. In addition, on board AN YANG 2 are 50 tons of diesel fuel, 700 tons of fuel oil, 2.7 tons of engine oil.

It is informed that two rescue vessels tugboat "Rubin" and "Spasatel Kavdeikin" are in a state of readiness for use.
