Seventy-six apartments were damaged after a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed in the Pervomaisky district of Rostov-on-Don. This was reported by the acting head of the city administration Alexander Skryabin in Telegram-channel on February 8

"The inspection revealed 76 damaged apartments and 215 windows need to be replaced. Measurements on replacement of windows are carried out in eight houses, on the remaining six works will be carried out tomorrow", - he said.

Also the mayor-in-chief emphasized that in connection with the incident, the city services were tasked to conduct an inspection of the city shelters.

It is reported that an additional round of apartments in the neighborhood is underway.

Earlier in the day in the Pervomaisky district of Rostov-on-Don conducted a state of emergency after a night attack of UAVs on the city. Acting head of the region Yuri Slyusar added that the emergency services have checked the condition of the pipes, gas is supplied to the houses in the normal mode. An operational headquarters has been set up to receive residents' applications and assess the damage.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
