The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched strikes on two settlements in Belgorod Region, there were no casualties. This was reported by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on February 8.

"The AFU struck two settlements in our region," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

Gladkov specified that in the village of Murom in the Shebekinsky district in five private households windows were broken out and roofs were damaged. In addition, an outbuilding was destroyed by fire because of the shell.

Also in Belgorod district, a drone attacked a private house in Malinovka settlement. As a result, the roof and a car were damaged.

Earlier, on February 6. Gladkov reported that three people were killed when the AFU dropped a munition in the Belgorod region. According to preliminary data, the drone dropped an explosive device on a passenger car

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
