About the fire in the east of Moscow became known in the evening of February 8. At the time of arrival of rescuers black smoke has already covered the third and fourth floors of the building of the former Electrozavod. As reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire is spreading rapidly. More than 60 firefighters and 16 units of equipment are working at the scene.

Fire in the east of Moscow - how many people were injured

After the fire started, 120 people were evacuated from the burning building. At the same time, there were still people on the upper floors, to whom the fire blocked the way to escape. Lifting mechanisms are used for their rescue.

According to the press service of the Moscow Department of Health, three victims of the fire were taken to the Sklifosovsky Research Institute with poisoning from combustion products. Their lives are not threatened.

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in Moscow has launched an investigation into the fire in the former building of Elektrozavod.
