Crimea reported the formation of a new list of objects subject to nationalization
Crimea is preparing a new list of objects in the republic that will fall under nationalization. This was reported by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, in a conversation with RIA Novosti on 8 February.
He explained that we are talking about real estate objects belonging to Ukrainian oligarchs and persons hostile to Russia.
"The fight against the Nazis in Crimea continues. We will not leave a single object of enemies of Crimea and Russia. We will deal with all of them," he noted.
In addition, Konstantinov added that such measures are carried out not only for moral duty, but also bring real help to the economy of the Republic.
In 2022, the State Council of the Republic of Crimea approved the decision to nationalize the property of Ukrainian oligarchs associated with the Kiev authorities.
On July 9, 2024, Konstantinov announced that the largest assets of Ukrainian oligarchs, previously owned by them, had been transferred to the ownership of Crimea. He also previously reported on the replenishment of the republic's budget by more than 2.1 billion rubles, proceeds from the sale of nationalized assets of Ukrainian oligarchs.
On June 12, Konstantinov announced the nationalization of the assets of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and other Ukrainian politicians and oligarchs. The assets of Ukrainian singer and Eurovision 2016 winner Susana Jamaladinova, known as Jamala, were also nationalized.
