Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. It is noted that units of the "East" group of troops have improved their tactical position, units of the "Dnepr" group of troops have defeated the formations of three brigades of the AFU coastal defense in the areas of the settlements of Nikolaevka, Tokarevka, Sadovoye and Dneprovskoye in the Kherson region, and units of the "Southern" group of troops have taken more favorable lines and positions.
"As a result of decisive actions of the units of the "Center" group of troops, the city of Dzerzhinsk of the Donetsk People's Republic - the largest settlement in the Toretska agglomeration - was liberated," the Defense Ministry added.
In addition, air defense assets shot down a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher and 93 aircraft-type drones.
Operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces' groups of troops struck a gas and oil facility that provided the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, the infrastructure of military airfields, storage depots and places of preparation for the launch of drones, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 152 areas.
A total of 653 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 42,710 unmanned aerial vehicles, 592 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,254 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,514 multiple rocket launchers, 21,397 field artillery and mortars, 31,393 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
