In Primorye, drones helped track down fishermen out on the ice
Winter fishing enthusiasts were caught in Vladivostok using quadrocopters on Friday, February 7. Fishermen caught red-handed will be fined, the press service of the regional government reports.
Violators were searched for during an interdepartmental raid to prevent citizens from going out on the ice. Firefighters, police, city administrative commission and specialists of the State Emergency Situations Committee went on the hunt for intruders.

In Vladivostok it is forbidden to go out on the ice of water bodies during the whole winter period. The same ban is in force in the Ussuriysk urban district. The restrictions were introduced to prevent accidents and will remain in effect until the ice melts completely.
