Sergunina spoke about the "Heritage of My Neighborhood" contest
The seventh city contest of children's drawing "The Heritage of My Neighborhood" has started in Moscow. Young artists aged from seven to 15 years old can take part in it, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"We invite the guys to share their view of the capital and show the beauty of favorite parks, embankments, streets, architectural objects. There are eight nominations in total. One of the new nominations is "Moscow Musical", it is dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the birth of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, which is celebrated this year", - said Natalia Sergunina.
One more jubilee nomination is timed to the 90th anniversary of the capital subway. Besides, the contestants are offered to draw monuments to heroes of the Great Patriotic War, city estates, sculptures and many other things.
In each nomination drawings will be evaluated in two categories - "Amateurs" (7-11 and 12-15 years old) and "Professionals" (7-11 and 12-15 years old). The winners will be chosen by a jury consisting of artists, teachers, architects, local historians, cultural figures and artists.
The best work in the "Audience Award" nomination will be determined by Internet users. To do this, the participant needs to post a work in the social network "VKontakte" with the hashtag #Heritage of the district2025. The participants of the project "Active Citizen" will also award their prize by voting.
The awarding of the winners will tentatively take place at the end of May. The winners' drawings will be presented at exhibitions in the capital's parks in August and September.
