The American state of New Hampshire has lifted the ban on the sale of vodka from Russia, which was introduced in 2022. This was reported by The Boston Globe.

According to the publication, the decree was canceled by the former Governor of New Hampshire Christopher Sununu before leaving office in December 2024. Last year, he canceled 145 decrees, among which was a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverage from Russia. The politician explained the decision by the fact that in 2022 he imposed restrictions on the sale of Russian products to draw attention to the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, such actions became historical and fulfilled their task.

Also the representative of the Commission on the control of the turnover of alcoholic beverages of New Hampshire said that now the authorities are addressing the issue of the remaining stocks of Russian vodka in warehouses, without specifying their volume, adds "Gazeta.Ru".

Earlier, on January 23, in the Kamchatka region introduced a new restriction on the retail sale of alcohol. Now the trade is prohibited on the Day of love, family and fidelity. It was noted that the ban is set on the sale of alcohol in retail facilities, which are located in apartment buildings of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district and Yelizovsky municipal district.
