A new sports and recreation center with swimming pools and a spa zone will be built in Istra near Moscow

In Istra (Moscow region), a multifunctional fitness center with outdoor and indoor swimming pools will be built. The image of the building has already been approved by the architectural commission of the town-planning council of the Moscow region, reports the Committee for Architecture and Town Planning on Friday, February 7.

A site in the village of Pokrovskoye, near Novorizhskoye highway, has been identified for construction. The area of the building will be about 9.5 thousand square meters, simultaneously it will be able to accommodate up to 500 people.

"The complex "Voda", thanks to its structure and minimal number of floors, delicately fits into the environment, not disturbing the peace and comfort of residents, and shielding them from the negative impact of the highway", - commented the chief architect of the region Alexandra Kuzmina.

The first floor will accommodate indoor swimming pools with a swim-out to fresh air, baths with phyto-cafes and a restaurant. On the open area - a large terrace with three swimming pools, a beach and water bar, a street bath, a sports area. The second floor is allocated for a spa complex, cafes and recreation areas, writes the online edition of "Podmoskovye Segodnya".

According to Vladislav Gordienko, the Minister of the Moscow Region Government for Architecture and Urban Planning, the complex is designed for recreation and physical training. The construction is planned to be completed in 2027.
