The management of Moscow soccer club "Spartak" has acquired the most expensive player in the history of the club - the team's roster was supplemented with a striker of the national team of Trinidad and Tobago, 27-year-old Levi Garcia. This was reported on February 7 by the press service of the Red and White.
Garcia signed a contract with Spartak for 3.5 years. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the transfer of the player cost the club €18.7 million.
"With a height of 182 cm, Garcia is distinguished by a classy jumping and head game, high speed, effective dribbling and a strong strike", - stated on the website of the team.
Since 2020, the footballer played for Greek AEK. In 2023, the club became the champion and winner of the Greek Cup. In the current season, the striker played for the team 22 matches, scored 10 goals and made three assists, adds "Sport-Express".
Before that, the most expensive acquisition of Spartak was Dutch midfielder Gus Teale. The amount of his transfer from Dutch Alkmaar Zanstrek in 2019 amounted to €18 million, according to Transfermarkt.
