Russian Defense Ministry shows footage of destroying AFU armored vehicles in Kursk region

The Russian Defence Ministry has published footage of the destruction of armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) by the Russian army in Kursk Region on 7 February.

It is specified that the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) struck by the Rubicon Center's calculations while repelling the Ukrainian attack.

The footage shows a direct hit of the drone in the intended objects.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the combat work of servicemen of the units of the motorized rifle regiment as part of the "North" group of troops to destroy armored vehicles and manpower of the AFU in the Kursk region. The published footage shows that the soldiers of the motorized rifle regiment were able to dislodge the enemy from fortified positions as a result of combat work.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
