The Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of AFU equipment by FPV drones of the Rubicon center

The FPV drone unit of the Rubicon test center has destroyed vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kupyansk direction. The footage was published by the Defense Ministry on Friday, February 7.

It is reported that the vehicle transporting AFU personnel was detected by the Rubicon reconnaissance units.

Calculations of FPV-drones of the center hit the vehicle and personnel of the Ukrainian troops, despite the opposition of electronic warfare systems.

Such vehicles forced the AFU to urgently reconsider the principles of defense against UAVs

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported that calculations of strike FPV-drones of the Altai motorized rifle unit destroyed the AFU Leopard tank in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. The operators, having spotted the target, performed combat approaches and spiked the drones into the rear and front of the enemy's equipment, hitting the combat vehicle and the crew that was hiding under it.

The special operation to defend Donbass, which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
