Four Russians who painted a subway car were arrested in Armenia

A court in Armenia has arrested four Russian citizens and a Lithuanian citizen who painted subway cars in Yerevan and then tried to leave the country. This was reported by Shamshyan portal on February 6.

According to the publication, on February 1, acting director of Yerevan Metro Babken Sedrakyan informed the mayor about an emergency incident in the subway, during which unknown masked persons interrupted the movement of the train and started painting the car with colored paints.

Sedrakyan reported that law enforcement officers soon established the identity and location of the intruders.

According to the portal, the intruders were detained at the Armenian-Georgian border while trying to leave Armenia. According to Sedrakyan, a criminal case was initiated over the incident.

Earlier, on January 11, the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office reported that a criminal case had been opened against a man who broke a train window in the capital's subway.
