Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko spoke about LNG and uranium supplies to Asia
Russia continues to supply a number of energy resources to Asian countries, including liquefied natural gas and uranium fuel, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko shared in an interview with Izvestia.
"Russia is still one of the important suppliers of LNG to Japan. Exports of uranium fuel for South Korean nuclear power plants have grown. Cooperation with our East Asian neighbors in the field of fisheries is developing steadily, including within the framework of specialized intergovernmental agreements," Rudenko said.
There is a potential for increasing exports to Japan of agricultural products, including grain and meat, as well as timber, the diplomat added.
