Construction of a concert hall in the foothill part of Tobolsk will begin in 2025

The construction of a large concert hall is planned to start in Tobolsk in 2025 as part of the global reconstruction of the foothill part of the city. The head of Tobolsk Pyotr Vagin told IA "Ura.ru" about it.

"Our task is to involve the foothill part in the rest of the city life. And we are already calling it Lower Posad to give the appropriate status. That's why the decision to build a concert hall was made, and this is probably the most important and serious object that will appear in recent years," - said the mayor.

The design and estimate documentation for the construction of the hall has already been developed. Tentatively the works will start in spring 2025.

Large-scale changes are planned on the adjacent territory. Thus, Festival Square will be connected with Bazarnaya Square, there will be hotels, space for family events, photo shoots. The Irtysh embankment will be improved.

As part of the global reconstruction, the foothill part of Tobolsk is also planned to be connected by pedestrian and bicycle routes with remote recreational areas and parks. In addition, the authorities plan to attract investors for the reconstruction of historical sites.
