The most popular tourist destination for the spring of 2025 among Russians is St. Petersburg, according to the data of the research of the accommodation booking service "Avito Travel" and the service for buying air and rail tickets "Kupibilet", which was reviewed by "Izvestia" on February 7.

On average, taking into account air travel and two-day stay in a rented apartment, one will have to spend Br35.8 thousand for two people on a trip to St. Petersburg, while if one chooses a country house for accommodation - Br71.4 thousand.

The second place in popularity was taken by Sochi, despite the high travel budget. On average, you will have to spend Br4.9 thousand per day to rent an apartment here. To get to the resort city, tourists will have to pay Br12.9 thousand per ticket. Taking into account two round-trip air tickets, a two-day trip will cost an average of Br61.2 thousand. Those wishing to rent a countryside facility will have to pay Br75.6 thousand.

Kazan closes the top three in popularity, a trip there will cost the cheapest. The reason is the low prices for airfare - an average of Br5.9 thousand. When renting an apartment, the budget for housing and air travel for two people will amount to Br33.34 thousand, as well as Br53.6 thousand when choosing a country house. Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg are also included in the top-5 spring destinations. The cost of a spring trip to these cities for a couple of travelers when renting an apartment will amount to Br36.5 thousand and Br37.1 thousand, respectively.

If you rent a countryside object, the cheapest way to spend a spring weekend will be in Makhachkala (Br49.5 thousand). Here and in Vladikavkaz is the most affordable countryside housing.
