Tennis player Rublev advanced to the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Rotterdam

Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev made it to the 1/4 finals of the ATP-500 tournament (Association of Tennis Professionals) in Rotterdam, Netherlands, after winning the second round match over Hungarian Fabian Marozhan on February 6.

Rublev (No. 4 seed) defeated the Hungarian 7:6 (7:2), 7:6 (9:7). The meeting lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes, Sport-Express notes.

The Russian will have to fight with his Polish opponent Hubert Hurkacz (No. 8) to reach the semifinals. The tournament prize fund exceeds €2.2 million.

Earlier, on January 26, Italian tennis player Yannick Cinner, the world number one, defeated German Alexander Zverev in the final of the Australian Open.
