There were no claims against Yury Borisov, the dismissed director-general of the Roscosmos state corporation, and the state-owned company simply rotated its staff. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on February 6.

"There are no claims against Borisov. Rotation is being carried out. The corporation needs to develop dynamically. Therefore, rotation is taking place," Peskov said.

He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin 's schedule does not include a meeting with Dmitry Bakanov, the new head of Roscosmos, in the near future. Nevertheless, the head of state regularly receives reports from the corporation.

Borisov was relieved of his post as Roscosmos CEO earlier in the day. He held his post from July 15, 2022. Borisov's successor was Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Dmitry Bakanov.
