Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as see a map of military operations for February 6 in the Izvestiya piece.

According to the Defense Ministry, the units of the "West" troop groups have improved their tactical position. The fighters of the South have taken more favorable lines and positions.

In addition, the units of the "Center" troop group have improved their position on the front line. In their area of responsibility, the enemy lost over 505 troops, five armored combat vehicles, including a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, two vehicles and seven artillery pieces, including a self-propelled artillery unit.

At the same time, units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses.

The Russian army hit the infrastructure of military airfields, places where unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are stored and prepared for launch, as well as concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 142 areas.

Air defense means shot down two Hammer guided aerial bombs, 10 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) shells and 106 aircraft-type drones.

A total of 653 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 42,569 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,047 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,513 MLRS combat vehicles, 21,292 field artillery and mortar guns, and 31,239 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
